Cutter And Squidge Review

About My Cutter And Squidge Experience

Seems a bit rude to call the unique beauties from cutter and squidge biscuits. They certainly ain't no hob knob that's for sure! Cutter and squidge make the most luxurious biscuits I've ever had the pleasure of eating. These top league beauties are a work of art.
Biskies

The proper name for this genius invention by cutter and squidge is biskie. A food hybrid of
biscuit, cookie and cake!

The ever so friendly staff member at cutter and squidge told me that the biskies will last me around four days in the fridge so I decided to buy a box of four. They were finished the same day!

I ordered a matcha and raspberry biskie, which is a new flavour at cutter and squidge.

I also ordered a blueberry crumble biskie. Chocolate rice crispie biskie and a cutter and squidge favourite - The salted caramel s'mores biskie.

The biskies cost me just over £3 each or four for £12.

The friendly server told me that only natural ingredients are used, which is something that I'm quite passionate about. I don't usually do coffee shop cafes, but Cutter and Squidge won me over It's a beautiful cafe for sitting in - alone or accompanied. It's white, shiny, clean and spacious. With cute items hanging up high. Much like a giant baby mobile.

I was handed a loyalty card which entitles me to a free biskie after my 6th visit - And I shall be back. Mark my words!

I tucked in to the salted caramel s'mores biskie 1st. It smells divine, like the most perfect, buttery vanilla cookie. I tell ya 1 thing it really is squidgy. The salted caramel sauce is perfection, with only a slight taste of salt. The most perfect wedge of slightly melted marsh mallow is sandwiched between two buttery, chewy biscuits. I was sad to see it end.
Cutter and Squidge Biskie Selection

The biscuit of the chocolate rice crispie biskie is a bit tougher than that of the salted caramel s'mores. However, the geniuses behind cutter and squidge still managed to maintain that chewy, mouth watering effect when you bite into this gem of a choccy biscuit sandwich. The chocolate rice crispie wedge is pretty tough to bite through. All in all the chocolate rice crispie biskie is pretty decent. Though not better than the s'mores biskie in my opinion.

The blueberry shortcake biskie is delicious. Topped with a white chocolate disk and a sprinkling of dried blueberries and crumble pieces. The biscuit base was super soft thanks to the surprise of fresh blueberries and blueberry sauce hiding in the center of the deliciously buttery buttercream.

My final encounter was with the raspberry and matcha biskie. Green tea and dried raspberries are sprinkled atop a white chocolate disk. A generous amount of buttery raspberry butter cream is sandwiched between two biscuits. The cutter and squidge raspberry butter cream is gorgeously tangy without being overpowering. Another surprise awaits thanks to the matcha sauce hiding in the middle.

My favourite biskies in order from most to least are :

  1. Salted Caramel S'mores
  2. Matcha and Raspberry
  3. Blueberry crumble/cheesecake
  4. Chocolate rice crispie

What's Amazing

The biskies. The icecream. The cakes. The cafe...everything!
