Skylight London Review

My Skylight Rooftop Experience

Skylight London

Skylight is London's latest rooftop hangout with pristine views across the city. Skylight is more than just another rooftop bar. Here you can also enjoy
a choice of two fun games. Suitable for both groups and couples.

Situated across two floors it features indoor and outdoor games courts of petanque and croquet.
Friendly bartenders can whip up some refreshing cocktails for you to enjoy. If you're hungry, there are food vendors selling burgers and Greek pitta breads.

Thankfully there are some snuggly sheltered areas and blankets in case the weather takes a turn for the worse.

I visited skylight on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed a tasty passionfruit based mocktail whilst gazing out over the city skyline.
For lunch, I opted for a super filling burger from food vendors we serve humans. My burger contained a succulent beef pattie with a crispy truffled mac n cheese pattie stacked on top. All finished off with melting cheese, fresh lettuce and slaw.

After lunch I enjoyed a few games of croquet. It was my first time playing croquet and I really enjoyed it.

Games at skylight need to be booked in advance. Visit www.skylightlondon.com to book.

What was amazing?

The peaceful location, with up front views of some of London's most iconic buildings.

I like the fact that Skylight is so welcoming, with no guest list or entry fee. Its great that there are games to play too. Even better is that the games are of the less common variety. You can grab a beanbag and sunbathe on a hot day to a backdrop of music. The food and drink options are delicious too.
